Philippine Madrigal Singers

Dear Conservatory Parents and Friends,

I am sending this e-mail to again encourage you to purchase tickets for the upcoming Madrigal Singers Concert -  "A Night of Chorale Harmony" on Friday, October 23 at 7:30 PM here at our beautiful and spacious Holy Name of Jesus Church. Tickets are priced at a flat rate of $25 but I am happy to announce that upon my request, a student rate of $15 has been approved. I specifically requested this rate in the hope that the lower student rate would encourage you to give your children the opportunity to watch this performance. However, there is only a limited number of student tickets so please call in your ticket orders to me as soon as possible.

Musical performances are a must see for any student but even more so for Conservatory students. The Madrigal Singers, recently named UNESCO Artist for Peace and winner of several top prizes in prestigious choral competitions are world class performers bar none.

More information about the Philippine Madrigal Singers can be found on their website: www.philippinemadrigalsingers.com

Our Pastor,  Fr. Arnold Zamora joined the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers or MADZ in 1990 where he also served as the group's resident arranger. in 1991, he joined MADZ in the U.S. and Canada Concerts in Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, Montreal, Seattle, Michigan, Chicago, St. Louis, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Hawaii with Andrea Veneracion, the founder and choirmaster of MADZ.

It is an honor and a privilege and a rare opportunity to have the Philippine Madrigal Singers perform here at Holy Name. On behalf of the Staff at Holy Name Parish, I strongly encourage everyone to purchase tickets to experience and enjoy this wonderful Concert.

Please feel free to contact me for any questions regarding this Concert.

See you there!
