It's been 4 years since our last Parish Directory so preparations are underway to have our 2008 edition done.
Photo shoots are scheduled on:
September 16(Tues) from 3-9 PM,
September 17(Wed) from 3-9 PM,
September 18(Thu) from 1-7 PM,
September 19(Fri) from 3-9 PM &
September 20(Sat)from 10 AM - 5 PM
I'll keep you posted if this schedule changes).
I've encouraged the members of the Senior Club to sign up for their pictorial on Thursday (so they have it during BINGO time and they don't have to come back in the evening) and the FIL-AM Club members to schedule themselves on Friday evening (this is their usual meeting/social so they are usually here anyway). I'm waiting for a call back from Olan Mills regarding squeezing in a photo shoot on Sunday. We can probably cancel a week-day if Sunday is available.
Hopefully, Sr. Stella can encourage the Rel Ed families to sign up and Judy Cosmos and Alice Ho Seher can encourage the school families to sign up and have their pictures taken. Fr. Te and Tri can encourage members of the Vietnamese community and Sr. Esther can encourage members of the Chinese community. For us here at the office, It really helps to have the faces to associate with the names. So....the more the merrier !! We have so many members but only a handful participate. Together let us work together so that the 2008 Directory will be a true representation of our multi-cultural community.
I have left a message with our representative from Olan Mills if he would like to have sign ups available during the 1st day of school Parents Orientation meeting at the Gym. I think that would be practical.
